Better Individual Clips Export
Stop crossing your fingers every time you render "Individual Clips." The native batch render in DaVinci Resolve treats your timeline as one massive, fragile job—if one clip fails, the whole batch fails.
ERI Better Individual Clips is a Python-based workflow tool that revolutionizes how you export dailies, VFX plates, and archive assets. Instead of one giant render task, this script intelligently scans your timeline and creates a distinct, independent render job for every single clip.
Why you need this:
Zero-Risk Rendering: If Clip #50 fails, you don't lose the first 49. Simply retry that specific job without re-rendering the entire timeline.
Pause & Resume: Because the queue is granular, you can pause your render queue to take a Zoom call or edit, and resume exactly where you left off.
Conflict-Free Naming: Automatically sanitizes filenames and appends unique index numbers (e.g., 001, 002) to ensure you never accidentally overwrite files with duplicate source names.
Precision Targeting: Selectively export only the clips on Video Track 1 (for clean plates) or the uppermost visible track (for cuts), ignoring the rest.
Preserves audio processing on all included clips
System Requirements:
DaVinci Resolve Studio (17, 18, 19+)
Windows, macOS
Python 3.6+ installed and linked in Resolve Preferences.
